Robert Roussos is a graduate from Marshal Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary, Class of 1981. He was admitted to Virginia Supreme Court in 1981, the U.S. District Court 1982 and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in 1982 and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1985. He is a member of the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, Virginia State Bar and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association of which he was a co-founding officer and director. He has served three terms on the Bankruptcy Bar Advisory Committee and has also served on the Local Rules Committee of the Eastern District of Virginia. He is a recipient of the Pro Bono Award for Outstanding Service and has been selected to Virginia Business Legal Elite. He has lectured on numerous Continuing Legal Education Seminars on various Debtor-Creditor and Bankruptcy topics. His practice focuses on bankruptcy, business workouts, and negotiations with the IRS and Virginia Department of Taxation.
